Transform Your Writing with Desert Rose Edits
Developmental Editing
Reading through the manuscript with the objective of helping the author connect with the reader. A focus on character development and helping pull the author from the quick sand of plot holes and making sure the flow/pace of the story is consistent.
Line Editing
An in-depth look at the manuscript for stylistic harmony, trimming down of wordy paragraphs, and run on sentences. Line editing to enhance descriptions, rework repeated actions and descriptions, and the flow/pace of the manuscript.
Copy Editing
An in-depth look at grammar, punctuation, clarity, spelling, and word use. Copy editing is not a full look at style except to establish consistency.
Proofreading
A read through of the manuscript, query, etc. for minor mistakes before they are sent to Agents, Publishing Agencies or Self-Published.
Beta Reading
